Haru and Gaku need to make 20 million in one month, on their online flower store, so they tackle the biggest–and the riskiest–flower market. The Kabuki-cho red light district! Every night, tons of people buy large, expensive flowers for their designated hosts or cabaret girls for various events, and Haru identified that he needs to get Yorinuki into this market. But cracking the Kabuki-cho market is harder than it seems.
Translation Notes/Trivia
- Host club vs cabaret clubs: host club is where hot guys pamper the female clientele. The host earns commission on the bottles their customers open, and so they do their best to convince the women to open the bottles. Cabaret club is the opposite where hot girls go and pamper the male clientele. In this episode, it’s implied that a lot of host club’s customers are cabaret girls themselves– that’s why they have the money to spend at host clubs.
- In one scene where the girls are talking about “sending flowers to myself” it’s implied that she’s talking about her experience as a cabaret girl, sending flowers to herself at the club so that her male clients will celebrate and open bottles for her.
