The nationally famous singer, Eiji Kitami dies between the time his concert ends and before the encore starts. There are only a finite number of people who had access to his dressing room– his manager, his stylist, and… a mystery woman. The body is taken for autopsy to figure out what happened but there is politics and bureaucracy surrounding the autopsy itself. Takashi Yuzuki is the main character who challenges the autopsy done by Akiyoshi Date’s team in an effort to uncover the truth.
