Translation Notes/Trivia

  • Language
    • “Ahobayashi” is a mix of the word Aho + Aobayashi. Aho means “idiot” or it was a derogatory nickname.
    • Kabe-don
  • Culture
    • The “game” they played on the phone was shiritori where they find words that starts with the end of last word. If you say a word that ends in “n” like ketsukacchin, then the game ends because there are no words in Japanese that begins with n.
