Translation Notes/Trivia
- First-name basis. Up until now, Seigo has used “Hayame” when it’s just the two of them, and “Katsuragi” when he’s in front of others. This differentiation reflects how he wants to appear more like a boss sometimes, and more like a friend others.
- **Spoiler** at end of this episode, Issei calls her Hayame for the first time, and it’s a HUGE deal. In the past, he’s called her names like “stray cat”, and leading up to this episode, he’s just called her omae/koitsu which translates to you/her. (Yes, even in the episode where he confronts Masahiro, Issei only used “koitsu”. I used “Hayame” once to clarify the subject, but Issei never did.) This is the first time he’s used Hayame, and it represents his desire to be seen as an equal.
