Hayame’s husband calls her to try and finalize the divorce. Of course, Issei gets involved and tries to turn it into a game. The mission is to ask for a specific monetary compensation amount depending on what she rolls on the die. Issei turns this into a large-scale game, but at the end of the day, it’s clear that he’s doing this to try and make her feel better.
Translation Notes/Trivia
- Japanese expression: “having tense shoulder” is another way to say someone is very stressed. So Koya makes a joke that he’s so relaxed that his shoulders are flabby.
- In the scene where Issei says “It’s not over until he reaches home”, Hayame’s retorted back “Can you not talk like you’re a kid on a field trip?” What she means (and thus what got translated) is that a kid usually gets special rules for field trips (like they are allowed to eat specific candy) and so the kid will be pedantic and insist on the “field trip” not being over until they’ve reached home.
