Translation Notes/Trivia
- Thumping one’s chest to rile themselves up may be a cultural thing. Think Donkey-Kong.
- Dad’s company is Bisei Cosmetics but it’s romanized to “Besei Cosmetics” in some company poster so I went with that.
- Shiba Ryotaro is a real author who wrote “Moeyo Ken (Burn, O Sword)” and Ryoma Goes His Way. Moeyo Ken is about Hijikata Toshizo, and Ryoma Goes His Way is about Sakamoto Ryoma, both real historical figures in Japanese history.
