- While I didn’t directly use the word ‘remote’ in the translation, you may have noticed that the episode used the word “remote” or “rural” (地方) to refer to cities outside of Tokyo. Even Osaka is considered “remote” because everyone has a Tokyo-centric view. Tokyo is THE city, and everything outside of it is rural and outdated.
