Dr. Tendo gets sued and Kamijo makes a deal with Sakura that if she goes away with him, he will withdraw the lawsuit. She watches Tendo get removed from Anri’s surgery team… and is that enough to sway her to take up on Kamijo’s offer?

Translation Notes/Trivia

  • Sato Takeru gave a “behind the scene” talk where he said that removing Sakura’s hair tie in the living room scene was ad-libbed. He thought of it on the spot because the drama has used hair tie as a symbolism for “focused career-mode Sakura”, and untying her hair there showed that he’s treating her as a woman.
  • Another behind the scene talk regarding last scene: The editors were going to start the I love… song at the point where Tendo shows up, but the editors said “it’s probably obvious that he’s going to show up, so might as well start the song early and match Tendo’s appearance with the crescendo.”
  • In cardio catheter procedure, A line refers to a line injected through the arm versus a CV (central venous) line which is longer and injected through your pecs.
  • The difference between a mechanical heart and a pacemaker: the pacemaker can only emit low frequency energy to restore heart beats, but a mechanical heart can emit both low and high frequency energy.
  • The original Japanese line for “Roger that over and out” is a line used in the 80s, and is suppose to have a very outdated feel. I’m not entirely happy with the translation… Always looking for better suggestions!
  • In Nanase’s song, the mashed potato in her “mashed potato rice bowl” is not from the usual yellow potato or russet potato, but actually from mountain potatoes. That’s why it ends up sticky, because grated mountain potatoes take on a sticky/slimy/goo-y texture.

    The resolution you have listed is1280x720 which is same as the previous episodes. But when I’m downloading it and playing it, the resolution seems smaller; it’s “boxed in”.

    I’ve been downloading it the same way as the past 7 episodes and have been using VLC since the beginning.
