Over the last couple of episodes, Takaie has seen Himokura suffer great pains. It’s finally revealed that Himokura has been suffering a type of hallucination called phantom limb pain in which his brain feels pain for his right arm even though he doesn’t have a right arm anymore. Takaie, being a doctor who hates to see anyone suffer, tries to get him help but nothing works.
Makino and Takaie decides to approach his old boss at CDC to see if they can figure out what happened 5 years ago. This man starts recounting the tale of Himokura and Iriya in a remote island in Philippines…

- As usual, the spoken English is not always easy to understood so I provide subtitles for those too. And I hate to do this, but sometimes their grammar is wrong, so I fix the wording a little bit here and there.
- The series is broken up into 2 arcs, and this was the finale of the first arc. Next episode, we start the second arc, according to their twitter.
