Someone attacked Asuka on her way home and Kenta is doing his best to find out who’s behind it. He and his family suspect it’s Mr. Anonymous. Meanwhile, he also has to cover for Asuka’s absence, so he’s running around town doing interviews. And that’s when he notices that Kanie keep sleeping in office all day.
Kenta finds out that the latest 50,000 yen were stolen by Nana. But what pushed her to do this? We get closer to finding out who is Mr. Anonymous!
Translation Notes/Trivia
- There is a on-going jokes in this episode where his mom is pushing him to eat more meat. This is because in Japanese, there is a phrase “soushokukei”, literally meaning “Herbivore men” which refers to men who are too passive to make a move on a girl. In context, I translated that as “You’re slow at these things”. Now the opposite is “nikushokukei” meaning “Carnivore men” which, of course, refers to men who are aggressive at making moves.
- In Japan, a lot of people prefer to use email that comes with their phone plan because you can be assured that those emails have been verified. It’s treated like a phone number, and people are protective of their email address.
