Yono Miyako was working in the clothing company in Tokyo (at the high fashion street called Omotesando) when her mom fell ill and she decided to rush back to her hometown and move back in with her parents. While living the same old day after day, feeling stuck in her life, she meets Hashima Kanichi, who works part-time at a nearby sushi bar. This is the start of a mature love story.
Trivia/Translator Notes
- The title, “Spinning Around My Whirl” is probably a play on “Spinning Around My World”. It’s explained in the episode, but basically it means the world is going forward (spinning and orbiting) while her life is at standstill.
- The Great Buddha is located in Ushiku, Ibakaraki.
