Jiro and Kai managed to outrun both a group of thugs and their car… to reach a police officer, who helped them contact their instructor. They took their instructor and another detective to the scene but there was nothing left. According to the instructor, there’s nothing else to do but leave things to the headquarter. Jiro and Kai, however, can’t just sit still and do nothing…

Translation Notes/Trivia

• Culture: Police box (koban) are a small hut where a single policeman is stationed to help with neighborhood issues and directions. Think like a Japanese version of the UK’s Queen’s Guard station.
• The sounds that Kai whistled to wake up Jiro was the sound of their morning wakeup bell.
