Lupin no Musume 2 – Episode 4

There’s been a series of burglaries hitting their neighborhood, and Kazuma and his team is investigating the cases. Meanwhile, Hana and her mom friends meet frequency to gossip and turns out, one of the fellow mom from Ann’s elementary school got burglarized. Furthermore, this is the same house that the L family was targeting for stealing their next treasure. Where would all these people cross paths?

• Language
  • Home wrecker (泥棒猫, dorobou-neko) is literally translated as cat-thief.
• Culture
  • Baths: Japanese bathtubs are usually deeper than western bathtubs, so by default they are always full-body baths. There’s a new trend of half-body baths (where water only comes up to half your torso) so you can stay longer. But half-body bath is just a regular bath in western culture.
• References
  • “As many of you are aware, my master has traveled from Edo” this is a line from Uirou-uri, a popular passage used for actors to practice pronounciations.
  • Cat’s Eye
  • The Toraburyu’s album, Road had 13 chapters which got released over the course of 8 years.
