I wasn’t expecting Natsu’s father to be so much of an arse (in Japanese terms especially). As someone with a birth father who’s also an arse, I sympathize. My maternal uncle and grandfather stepped up, like Natsu’s stepfather stepped up. I really like the found family vibes in this show–they give everyone deserving a seat at the table, like Yayoi and Tsuno.
